Join us at Old Original Bookbinder's Seafood & Steakhouse for a one-night-only event featuring an exceptional five-course dinner with wine pairings crafted by Executive Chef Chris Booth and Sommelier Jason Tesauro. Indulge in the rich cultural flavors and local ingredients that Chef Chris has to offer.

MEET THE CHEF: Chris Booth - Executive Chef

Chris Booth brings over 20 years of experience and passion to his craft. As executive chef at Bookbinder’s, he has led the restaurant to recognition as one of the most romantic restaurants in America by OpenTable. Working and training in kitchens including Buckhead’s, the Hard Shell, and Chez Max has allowed Chris to perfect the art of preparing timeless classics. Brought up in Prince George and inspired by moments cooking with his mother and grandmother, he understands the power of sharing a meal and connecting people through food. He continues to add his unique twist to steakhouse and seafood favorites at Bookbinder’s.

MEET THE SOMMELIER: Jason Tesauro

Jason is a writer/photojournalist/sommelier with three books, four cameras, and five children. Since 2002, he’s served as National Brand Director & Chief Sommelier at Barboursville Vineyards, spreading the gospel of local bounty and Virginia vino to 38 states. Tesauro is also a three-time national award-winning culture and lifestyle journalist for Esquire, Travel+Leisure, Bloomberg, The New York Times, and others. He built a house in Church Hill where he drinks a ton of weird whites, magnums of rosé, and classic Nebbiolo.
